Last Suspense we launched the public engagement of Nenagh Watson’s research into ‘Ephemeral Animation’, a term coined by her to place debris animated by natural elements (i.e. a plastic bag blowing in the wind) into a performance frame. A year on, we now present two pieces and a master class, which take the concept into the studio to inform the creative process. Ephemeral Animation has generated a fresh sensibility into the Functionality of the object.
Nenagh Watson is a Creative Research Fellow funded by AHRC and hosted by CSSD.
During SUSPENSE she will be leading a workshop at The Central School of Speech and Drama alongside two performances.
